Dean Bowlby teaches figure drawing and oil painting at Roaring Fork Campus of Colorado Mountain College. Growing up in the Roaring Fork Valley, his career as an artist was born out of wonder and innate love for his surroundings. Dean’s artistic style developed from respect for careful observation and a strong foundation in representational drawing. His art captivates and intrigues the imagination.

He is frequently found painting plein-air from local streets or cafes in Florence to traveling throughout the United States. His works are in public and private collections throughout the world.
